This car would suit a moderately handy enthusiast looking for a project where all the hard work has been done.

The Hurricane has had a body off restoration. All wood in the body and doors, including the tricky bottom of the A pillars and the doors has been replaced. It has a new steel boot floor made and fitted. The body has been correctly fitted back onto the chassis after it was cleaned, derusted and painted.

The chassis has been fitted with a high ratio diff for easy cruising, a rebuilt 236 engine (the AS factory offered this option to 16/18hp owners in the ‘50s and ‘60s), a preselector gearbox with new seals and new input shaft, a new ps clutch, telescopic shock absorbers front and rear and a rebuilt front suspension which includes NOS shock absorbers. It has also been fitted with 4 wheel, power boosted brakes for safer modern driving.

A new wiring loom has been fitted and new old stock 16hp gauges are available.

The front guards, bonnet and gravel tray need to be fitted.
